To mark the milestone, we’re reflecting on a decade of growth and sharing what’s next.

Our Journey to 2026

Our mission to deliver the highest quality electronic component solutions to our growing base of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), contract manufacturers (CMs), and electronic manufacturing service (EMS) providers has always been clear.

At the same time, we strive to build lasting, trusted relationships by consistently delivering high-quality electronic component solutions for the digital age, with a personal touch.

None of this would be possible without our customers’ trust and support, or the dedication of our exceptionally driven supply chain experts at our headquarters in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

How It All Began

Component Dynamics was established to build upon the success of related companies in Europe and Asia, extending a global footprint into North America with sourcing, warehousing, quality inspection and logistics capabilities. Along the way, we’ve achieved some major milestones:

  • 2016 – Component Dynamics founded.
  • 2019 – Opened our Portsmouth, New Hampshire headquarters.
  • 2021 – Accreditation to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards.
  • 2021 – Registration with ERAI (Electronic Resellers Association International)
  • 2022 – Launched Consignment & Revenue sharing services.
  • 2023 – Launched Warehousing & Fulfilment services.
  • 2023 – Accreditation to AS9120 standard.
  • 2023 – Registration with ITAR and GIDEP.
  • 2023 –  Completed major expansion to warehouse and quality laboratory adding temperature, humidity, and ESD controlled warehouse space and quality equipment enhancements.
  • 2024 –  Completed software conversion to Axiom HQ enhancing our collaboration with U.S., Germany, China, and Hong Kong sites providing real time inventory, sales, and market data.
  • 2025 – Authorized for Optifuse, ASROCK, &Power Dynamics.
  • 2025 – Implemented IDEA 1010B Inspection Standard.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Component Dynamics enhanced quality management systems and in-house inspection capabilities, including AS9120 accreditation and investment in state of the art inspection equipment. These investments enabled us to meet urgent demand requirements while ensuring strict compliance with global quality standards and rigorous counterfeit avoidance measures.

Industry Partnerships

Over the last decade, we’ve expanded partnerships across the medical, aerospace, automotive, and telecom industries. By investing in technology, infrastructure, and inventory management services, including consignment programs, warehousing & fulfillment, and cost recovery programs, we’ve continued to adapt to changing customer needs to set our customers up for supply chain resilience in any market scenario including shortages, surpluses, and anything in between.

  • Completion of a global rollout of our ERP system powered by Axiom HQ, connecting all operations in real time across North America, Europe, China, and Hong Kong
  • Continued investment in Portsmouth infrastructure, including additional warehouse capacity to meet growing demand for inventory management services.

As a managing partner of Component Dynamics, Marc is focused on building a dedicated, honest, and reliable team of supply chain experts in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who represent the company’s strong reputation as an independent distributor of high-quality electronic component solutions. Prior to founding Component Dynamics, Marc worked in corporate finance for a Fortune 500 electrical distributor. He graduated with a degree in Economics and Finance from Bentley University.
