Each of these new team members brings unique strengths, fresh perspectives, and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers around the globe.
Jim MacPherson, Inside Sales Representative
With over 20 years in the electronics and finished goods industry, Jim MacPherson brings global experience and a results-driven mindset to our sales team. He started his career sourcing semiconductors for Asia-Pacific markets, eventually moving into strategic sales roles across North America and Europe. His deep industry knowledge, paired with a passion for building strong relationships, makes him a valuable addition to our growing sales organization.
Hear from Jim: “What first stood out to me at CD was the strong sense of family and team spirit. From my initial conversation with Marc and Torsten, it was clear how passionate they are about this industry, the company, and their employees — and that passion is reflected in the respect shown by every team member. “Being back in the electronic component industry, my goals center around growth, impact, and relationship-building.”
John O’Rourke
John joins us from the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business, stepping into an operations role where he’s learning the ins and outs of the electronic component supply chain. He’s currently embedded in our quality control department, ensuring every product that leaves our facility meets the highest standards.
Hear from John: “As an operations trainee, I’m looking forward to learning all facets of the company and industry. “Right now, I’m supporting the quality team — making sure products are in great shape before we send them to customers. With an extra set of hands, we’re moving faster while still delivering the best customer service possible.”
